Real Racing 2 HD Recieves 1080p Output Update

Last month we learned that, with its next update, Firemint’s ‘Real Racing 2 HD’ would be getting full 1080p output.

In case you missed it, connecting an iPad 2 running Real Racing 2 HD to your television with Apple’s HDMI dongle will allow you display the game on your HD TV — in full 1080p. The iPad then becomes the controller for playing the game on the TV while displaying a track map and other information pertaining to your race.

The update containing this feature went live yesterday. Firemint has put together a demonstration video that displays the fresh feature in all its glory here.

Additionally, Firemint has composed a helpful FAQ for anyone who needs help getting started.
