iOS 4.3 Instead of Chocolate on Valentine’s Day?

iOS 4.3 Instead of Chocolate on Valentine’s Day?

Valentine’s Day is usually filled with candied hearts and chocolate kisses, but who says that Apple can’t flatter us with an iOS update?

A new rumor that has recently surfaced online claims that Apple has iOS 4.3, the newest update for iPhones, iPads, and iPod Touches, slated for February 14 – known to most as Valentine’s day.

Many people have been speculating that the 4.3 update would make the most sense during the next two weeks, especially as iPhones on Verizon begin to sell like hotcakes.  This update looks to sport features ranging from in-app subscription options to a new Wi-Fi hot-spot feature.

Besides the above features that, for the most part, appeal to consumers, the update offers some new abilities for application developers.  AirPlay functionality APIs, full-screen iAds, and streaming statistics are just a few of the new features that 4.3 will offer to the people behind the meat of the App Store.

Other rumors have suggested that iOS 4.3 will be stock on the iPad 2, which will presumably be announced alongside the operating system update.  While this would prove to be interesting, initial reports have noted that the second generation iPad is not nearly ready for consumers.
